About Vegan Society

Welcome!

Follow us on Instagram @roe_vegan_society and check our Linktree roe_vegan_society for the most up-to-date information.

We're a group of students dedicated to promoting a sustainable and compassionate lifestyle on campus.

Our three main goals are to create a community of individuals concerned about the environment and animals, provide support for new vegans, vegetarians, and flexitarians, and offer a space to discuss health, environmental, and ethical issues related to animal use.

Join us to be part of a vibrant community that supports each other and works towards a more ethical and sustainable world.

Together, we can make a difference!

Some of our events and activities for this year include:

  • Cookery nights

  • Pot-lucks (bring food to share)

  • Restaurant and market trips

  • Talks and discussion groups

  • Activism on campus

  • Trips to exhibitions and events

  • Film screenings

We want to include everyone in the society. As part of this commitment, membership is free. All our events are open to non-members too, so you can try out the society abd get a feel for if you'd like to join! We welcome non-vegans to all events to - around 90% of our members last year weren't vegan!

If you would like to share any accessibility requirements or accommodations, let us know in person, by DM on Instagram, or by email at vegan.society@roehampton.ac.uk

We also have a WhatsApp group. Ask at our events to join!
