My name is Molly and I am running for the role of the treasurer of the Psychology Society. If successful, I plan on ensuring that the society is finanically on track so we can provide many opportunities for our members. My role would consist of arranging grant applications, authorising transactions, responding to emails and monitoring social media accounts. 

As I am a responsible individual, I believe that I would be a great fit for the role. Being a treasurer requires trust and assurance, which I can provide. For me, it is important that the society is financially responsible so that it can run smoothly in the present and continue to do so in the future. 

I am also a sociable person who enjoys communicating with others, therefore I would meet with the President and Secretary to ensure we are all on the same page at all times. It is vital that leaders of the society are aware of both the society's income and expenditures. 

Finally, I am a very organised individual, which is highly benefitial for the role. I will ensure that spreadsheets are up to date and correct to ensure there is no confusion. As I have previous experience of a secretary role which requires a lot of administration and planning, I am prepared for the role of the treasurer and determined to work hard.
