As your societies officer I will revitalize the societies on campus. I believe societies are an essential part of the student experience at roehampton and need to be at the forefront of extracurricular life on campus.

Due to Covid many people have not been able to participate in or create the societies they want to see on campus. As a first year during Covid I didn?t know what societies Roehampton had to offer.

Now however with London reopening there are many opportunities for new societies and the ability to make new friends in these societies. I believe I am qualified to be your societies officer because I feel that I can understand what types of societies our community wants and I can help those societies come to life. As for the many current societies we have I will do everything I can to support them and help them grow.

One of the first societies I would personally like to create is the skateboarding society. Making connections at roehampton is one of the best parts of university and I believe that through societies those connections can be made.

If elected I will do everything I can to make societies at roehampton the very best they can be and help students build those lifelong connections.
