Introduction

My name is Dent Patrick, but you can call me DP, a passionate sport enthusiast majoring in Sport Management vying for the Froebel President role, and I need YOUR support.

Why President

I am running for Froebel President because I want to leave an impact in every student’s University experience even if it is in the smallest way. I want students to look back at their time in Froebel and be proud to have been part of this community. Being Froebel President not only means leading from the front but being a pillar of hope and as we continue to build ourselves from a tough moment in our lives due to covid a sense of togetherness is needed and as President it will be an honour being that very light.

What to expect

1. Bringing all colleges CLOSER while keeping a COMPETITIVE edge.
2. Ensuring the Zeebras remain the FLAGSHIP of the College by bringing Simon, Jonathan, myself & the Zeebras committee closer.
3. Bringing all communities together from Asian & Minority ethnic to LGBQT, mature, disabled, International the list is endless in a SAFE and CONDUCIVE environment.
4. Ensure continuity from previous Froebel Presidents goals.
5. Bring back eventful Wednesdays with an active Union and a joint CELEBRATION of all sports teams with the rest of the University.
6. As Froebel President I will sit in the Student Senate, the Accommodation Subcommittee & Roehampton Students' Union which will allow me to raise & cater to YOUR NEEDS and WISHES.
7. Expect a President that will pose as a GREAT AMBASSADOR both internally and externally.
8. As emphasis on consent training for EVERY new student to ensure that we continue to live in a safe environment.
9. CREATE workshops on life skills and support struggling first year students.
10. Create a club that will MOLD BETTER MEN by teaching them etiquette, gentlemanly behavior and how to help and support surrounding communities
11. Bring back the end of year FROEBEL AWARDS
12. Run an “EARN YOUR STRIPES” community project.

Passionate, dedicated, ambitious and a never give up spirit is what you will have in me as your President. My ambition together with your support will see us not only maintain our spot as the top college but will see us go beyond our borders and rub shoulders with the very best leaving you as students’ proud custodians and ambassadors of Froebel.

And I leave you with a motto I grew up with “TOT FACIENDA PARUM FACTUM” which translates to “SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE DONE” So lets get to work FROEBEL COLLEGE!
