Hello, my name is Nafeesah Kasim. I am running for Gender Equality Officer.

I believe all genders should have equal rights. No matter your race, gender or age anyone can do anything if they believe and put their mind to it.

At Roehampton University I believe everyone should be equal and have equal rights no matter what. My background is mainly focused on only women, I always thought I have to be strong since we had no male figure around but I realized we shouldn't stereotype men being strong and women as being less dominant. Both genders and other genders people identify with can be strong physically and mentally.

Furthermore, I am a feminist but some feminists think too much about the female gender which causes an imbalance and does not make it equal anymore. Yes, women should have rights and get paid but they should equally be paid and hired as men. On the other hand mental health-wise, women are seen more than men with having mental health issues but people fail to realize that men suffer just as much.

I want to bring back gender equality and make sure all genders realize everyone should have the same rights.
