Greetings!

I'm Saraf and dream to be your next International Officer. Being a full time international postgraduate at Roehampton, I observed and personally witnessed the difficulties soon I arrived in the UK. Leaving own people and getting adapted with a different culture isn't a easy job. Here, I like to create the atmosphere of second home collaborating along with local and international students so that freshers never regret as they crossed thousands of miles. No matter where from you are; matter is now here you are.

• As I worked with several foreign university representatives back in Bangladesh, I noticed how international students run after so called agencies requiring application, admission and funding. At a time, getting failed to gather information and proper guidelines, many prospective students lose hopes to study in abroad. I swear, from now on, no more students will deprive due to lack of info: and mental support even I lose the election.
•  I was a joint secretary of a renowned student association in my division. I worked for all levels students. I used to arrange debates and study tour regularly.
• Being a Model United Nations (MUN) participant, I participated on many national & international conferences where I had a chance meeting diverse people with different race and enthusiasm. 

I will ensure a must fresher reception festival upon arriving campus. This will allow them to get to know each other first. I'll direct them some initial steps they must undergo, e.g. opening a bank account, phone contracts and adjusting to new culture.

Socialization

I will try my level best to celebrate yours special days based on religion and culture.

Equality and Diversity

I will set-up an equal and enhanced opportunity for everyone. If there has been noted any segregation or racial discrimination, I must  will report it to concerned authorities.

Funding

I will campaign for increased funding and more merit and need based financial help for international students to come to Roehampton.

Sports and Transports

I will definitely work on these. I will request upon students demand to increase the sports facilities as well as free transportation outside Barnes Station.

I believe in action and can't wait to start working with enthusiastic people from around the world.
