Hello, my name is Becky. I'm a second year Primary Education student. I'm passionate about making a positive difference for students wellbeing and the planet. That’s why I’m running to be your NUS delegate!

I will make sure the voices of Roehampton students are heard loud and clear at the national conference this April through the discussions and debates between delegates. I will vote for policies and candidates that align with our values and needs. I will also report back to you on the outcomes and actions of the NUS conference.

My main focus areas are sustainability and cost of living. These are two of the most pressing issues facing students today, especially in the wake of the pandemic and the climate crisis.

I have experience in campaigning outside the university. I also have experience in leadership through my degree and in being a committee member for 2 different societies in both my first and second years. I believe these experiences will make me an effective delegate for you.

If you elect me as your NUS delegate, I promise to be a dedicated, reliable and responsive representative, and I will listen to your views and feedback. I will also seek opportunities to learn and grow as a leader and an activist.
