I’m in my fourth year at Roehampton University studying for my Masters in Banking, Finance and Risk Management. I have a passion to help improve the student experience here at Roehampton and have built good relations with senior academic and non-academic staff.

We are all here to gain knowledge, build connections and learn new skills. I pledge to work for you to deliver a better education and leave feeling represented and enriched by your time at Roehampton University.

Collaborate

By communicating with Programme and Module convenors to deliver the high-quality courses that prepare students for the future world of employment. Working with the University to align courses with accreditation from regulatory bodies to demonstrate competencies and gain an advantage in Early Careers and beyond. I will promote Module Clinics help to give the opportunity for students to ask questions to academic staff, Studiosity, which provides guided feedback, helping students to develop to their full potential.

Add Value

Organising events to bring students in front of employers, having the opportunity to participate in Internships in the field of study, paid work placements in organisations that help to build your career path.

Advocating for more opportunities to gain insights from leaders of industry to provide mentorship and understand the skills they look for when searching for talent.

Improve Facilities

Making students aware of the resources available to aid their educational experience. Lobbying for access to more study spaces, making sure the Library is open 24 hours during exam/assessment periods. Helping International Students to adapt efficiently by providing a list of facilities to improve their experience and language skills.

Making sure facilities are accessible to all students with disabilities. Working with the RSU President to deliver culturally diverse events that are representative of the four colleges of Roehampton University.

Accountability

I pledge to be the voice of student education to make sure courses are delivered as advertised, making myself available to students to raise any concerns with senior University Management and governors. I will keep students informed with status updates throughout the term.
