Heena Fathima

A fresh face, a fresh start.

My name is Heena Fathima. I am studying BSc.Adult Nursing at University of Roehampton. I am nominating myself as National Union of Students NUS delegate [open place]. I was a class supportive leader in my school and learned leadership qualities and contributed myself in creating themes, arranging events and academic techniques.

My vision from this role is to support students and make a difference for the better future. I will be intiative, creative and dedicated towards my role. I will be always supporting students wherever the things go wrong. I also will be creating new techniques with the help of NUS organization as a delegate and make the education level, cost of living, well being and student rights to be reached properly to the students.

There are many concerns from students from different categories and places, few of them are education level, which every student must get equally. Cost of living, this can be solved by increasing more part time opportunities, also helping them with many accommodation facilities. Well being and health are the departments, where it should be seriuosly encouraged. If I am elected, I do not want any student go through any problematic situation which effects their health or well being. Right to vote is another main aspect which should be considered, as a student it is their right to vote the right person.

Based on these important concerns, I will be proactively resolving it and I think myself as a strong, decision maing and committed delegate to nominate and make a difference for students future support, If I am elected. I will respect the student concerns and NUS organization rules and regulations as well. I ensure to solve the problems, create new techniques or ways to overcome the things in favourable to students. I will also make the decisions under rules and regulations of NUS organization and university.

Therefore, I manifest that I will surely bring a new change in the system for the better future for students and complete all the responsibilties, I told.

The voting polls will take place between 10AM Monday 11th March and 10AM Friday 15th March. You can vote online at roehamptonstudent.com/elections.
