Hi, students of Roehampton! It gives me great pleasure to run for the position of Vice President (Welfare) at the Roehampton Students' Union (RSU). My name is Thanmai Narasa Reddy.

In an assortment of roles, I have actively sought to include, encourage, and empower students during my time at Roehampton. I've had the chance to engage with students from many backgrounds as a Student Ambassador, offering advice and fostering a friendly atmosphere. I effectively planned events that raised student involvement, encouraged inclusivity, and developed a feeling of community while serving as the Desi Society's marketing manager.

I'm prepared to continue advocating on your behalf and making sure that each and every Roehampton student feels respected, listened, and supported.

Student achievement and satisfaction are greatly influenced by a lively and interesting campus environment. As Vice President (Welfare), I will strive to increase the number of student-led activities, events, and cultural festivals in order to make the campus a more active and welcoming place for all. My goal is to provide social and networking opportunities so that students can form enduring friendships and support networks. In order to guarantee that your needs, thoughts, and concerns are recognised, heard, and addressed, I will also set up student feedback forums.

Regardless of students background, every student at Roehampton needs to feel encouraged and welcomed. In order to promote a more welcoming campus, I will make sure that all interest-based and cultural societies are given equal resources and recognition. I will work closely with the institution to improve support mechanisms that make the transition easier and less stressful for international students, who confront particular hurdles. In addition, I will work with RSU to advance equality, diversity, and inclusivity so that each student has a voice and a place to succeed.

I will advocate for internship and employment opportunities that benefit our student body by forming alliances with businesses and alumni networks. I will also plan mentorship programs, CV-building seminars, and career workshops to give students the tools they need for their future careers.
