Keira Williams

Vote for a Vice President who truly listens! Im committed to creating a college where every voice is heard, where safety and wellbeing come first, and where our community thrives together. if you want real change, lets make it happen- together!

Hey Roehampton Students! I’m Keira and I’ve decided to put myself forward and try for Whiteland’s Vice President 2025/26.

Why vote me?

I stand for fostering a strong sense of community, well-being, safety and engagement enhancing your student experience.

As Whiteland’s Vice President, I promise to listen to you and be a voice to everyone.

I’m sure you’d like to know a bit about who you would be voting for! I will be starting my second year studying Therapeutic Psychology and Counselling. I feel a sense of fulfilment when I am actively helping to improve the lives of others. I am passionate and highly motivated about helping everyone achieve their highest potential. Outside of my studies, I actively participate in sports and enjoy Volunteering within my community.

I feel strongly about everyone having a voice! I know that everyone is different, and I promise to provide equal opportunities to have ALL voices heard!

I am experienced in leadership positions and working with a wide range of people. I am confident in my ability and have the skills and confidence necessary to bring people together and create opportunities for new experiences and personal growth.

If elected I will;

  • Create a stronger sense community at the college: utilise the sett bar, organise regular social events like game and movie nights, organise community projects and volunteer opportunities, improve study spaces and ensure everyone feels heard and valued by taking feedback/ suggestions.
  • Support the wellbeing of students by starting wellbeing workshops where students can support their mental health, manage stress, and partake in mindfulness activities. I will promote and provide opportunities for students to manage their mental health and wellbeing alongside their studies and ensure all students know where to access wellbeing resources and support.
  • Strive for a stronger sense of safety and engagement at the university by raising awareness of the factors that impact on students feeling safe at university. I would aim to raise more awareness on important issues such as violence against women and girls. 1 in 3 women have experienced physical and/or sexual violence at least once in their life, this is unfortunately not limited to outside of university. I promised to take feedback and raise awareness amongst students on how to tackle these issues to ensure no one feels unsafe on campus and unable to engage and receive the best out of what life has to offer at university.

I feel strongly about helping others and as your Vice President, I promise to help you make the most out of your experience at university and most importantly advocate your ideas and ensure you have a voice that is not only heard but truly listened to!

Thank you for taking the time to read my manifesto. Please don’t hesitate to contact me at williamk23@roehampton.ac.uk if you have any questions.

By voting for me, I can guarantee your voice will be heard and I will work hard to represent what matters most… you the students.
