Hey Digby Stuart College students!

I’m thrilled to run for Deputy President. Our college community is amazing when we all feel supported, empowered, and heard. If elected, I’ll work hard to make sure you have everything you need to thrive.

Here are some of my top priorities:

Mental Health Matters - University life can be tough, and we need stronger mental health services to support everyone. I’ll fight for:

• Easier access to counseling services, with faster response times.
• More fun and helpful wellbeing events, like mindfulness workshops, peer support groups, and stress-relief activities.
• A safe and open space where you feel comfortable talking to someone about your feelings.

Fairness for All - I believe in fairness, equality, and working together for the greater good. As Deputy President, I’ll push for:

• More affordable and accessible facilities, so no one has to worry about money getting in the way of their education.
• A stronger student voice in decision-making, so our needs are heard and considered.
• Encouraging sustainable initiatives and fair working conditions for everyone on campus.                     

Safety First - Fire alarms are super important for keeping us safe, but they can also cause a lot of disruptions. I’ll propose:

• A warning system that lets you know when the alarm is about to go off, giving you time to gather your things and calm down.
• Better communication from college authorities about planned fire drills.
• Finding a balance between safety and minimizing unnecessary disruptions.
  So, Digby Stuart College students, let’s work together to make our college an even better place for everyone!

This practical approach will boost efficiency while keeping everyone safe.
