Overview

In a society where unacceptable behaviour is often normalised, it is essential that we understand the issues surrounding the bystander effect and encourage active intervention. This session on "How to Become an Active Bystander", led by the Bystander Intervention Leads, will equip attendees to identify and intervene in challenging situations in safe and effective ways. Attendees will also learn about the importance of consent, as well as identify how their unconscious bias may play a part in the analysis of situations.
