The last year has been a considerably difficult year for everyone, which is why the vaccination programme is important to ensure that we are able to protect ourselves against the COVID-19 virus.

The government has recently announced an increased focus on making sure that all adults can be offered two vaccinations by mid-September.

If you are over the age of 18 and in the UK, you are now able to book your Covid-19 vaccination.

You can book your vaccine by:

  • Booking an appointment on the NHS website HERE (You do not need to wait for your GP to contact you)
  • Or you can wait for your GP Surgery to contact you and book through them

The vaccines that are available are given in two doses. The second dose is usually given to you eight to twelve weeks after your first dose.

(If you have had a positive COVID-19 test, you should wait four weeks from the date you had the test before you can book a vaccine appointment.)

Walk-in Vaccination Sites

Walk-in sites have opened up across London and are another way to get your vaccine, this time without pre-booking. This can be an easier way for many people.
