There's a wide variety of roles available. From supporting our awesome student groups as a Student Activities Assistant, making our social media sparkle within our Marketing and Communications team through to making banging coffee in the Hive Cafe, there's bound to be a role that's just right for you.
Learning new skills and getting vital experience on your CV will prove invaluable when applying for jobs after you graduate while the very nature of our student staff roles means great flexibility for you to ensure you can earn money around your studies while balancing work, life, and play.
You'll also make great friends working for the SU and of course there's the £12.16 per hour you'll be earning when you work. What Roles Are Available
- Barista: Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages to customers and staff.
- Communications Assistant: Support RSU's communication strategy and create engaging content for social media and our website.
- Receptionist: Greet visitors, answer phone calls and emails, and provide administrative support.
- Student Activities Assistant: Assist with the planning and delivery of student events and activities, such as clubs, societies, sports, and volunteering.
- Student Voice Assistant: Help with the promotion and administration of student representation and feedback mechanisms, such as surveys, elections, and forums.
