Dear Students,
In February, two main events took place: Green Week and Elections. Green Week, as the name suggests, was a week of sustainability. We had a variety of events and activities across campus from the 10 through to the 14 February.
Green Week was a huge success, bringing together students and staff to engage in meaningful sustainability activities. The event received overwhelmingly positive feedback, with participants expressing appreciation for the opportunity to learn, connect, and contribute to environmental causes.
Event Highlights
Overall Impact
Green Week fostered a strong sense of community, promoting sustainability through hands-on activities and educational events. The impressive turnout at key events, particularly the Green Fair and Slow Ink Workshop, highlights the enthusiasm for environmental action on campus.
Despite a few challenges, the week was a resounding success, and we look forward to building on this momentum for future sustainability initiatives. A massive thank you to all participants, volunteers, and organisers who made Green Week an unforgettable experience!
Elections
The second major event was the Elections- I have never seen such intense competition in any event before. This reflects how eager our students are to secure opportunities. It was a challenging period, and I was longing for it to conclude. In the end, the winner emerged, and I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the successful candidates. I wish them the very best for the future. This time, it didn't work out for me, but I believe that what is meant to be for me will come in due time.
Until Next time.
