Empowering Student Voices: The Role of Student Networks at Roehampton

Student Networks are a vital part of the student experience at the University of Roehampton. These representative communities, led by students, focus on advocacy, liberation, and ensuring that underrated voices are heard. They are platforms for meaningful change that work closely with the Roehampton Students’ Union (RSU) to improve university life.

What are Student Networks?

Student Networks provide safe and inclusive spaces where students can discuss important issues, support one another, and drive initiatives that matter to their communities. These networks empower students to create positive change within their community, college, and the university as a whole. By joining a network, students can have their say and influence policies, organise events, and build a more inclusive and supportive university environment.

Each network is centred around a specific community or identity, ensuring that students have a space where they feel represented and valued. Through these groups, students connect with peers who share similar experiences, work together on campaigns and collaborate with the RSU to advocate for necessary improvements.
