Your voice not only matters in national elections but also in the leadership of your own Students’ Union. As we progress through the RSU Elections week, it's crucial to recognise the impact of your participation. That’s why we’re introducing a whole range of rewards that can be unlocked by simply exercising your right to vote. By reaching specific milestones of individual voters, exciting rewards and benefits will be unlocked for the entire student body. Let's take a closer look at what's at stake:

1000 Voters: 10% Discount at the Union Bar on Drinks –

Imagine enjoying your favourite drinks at a discounted rate with your friends after a long day of classes or even a celebratory night out. Achieving 1000 voters means unlocking a 10% discount on all drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) at the Union Bar, making those moments even more enjoyable and affordable for everyone. Please note, this deal is only available through the Breaz App, and will be active from the moment it’s unlocked until Saturday 16 March 2024.

1250 Voters: Sip and Paint Session Hosted by the RSU –

Unleash your creativity and unwind with a Sip and Paint session hosted by the SU. Whether you're an experienced artist or just looking to have fun, this event promises to be a delightful blend of artistic expression and social interaction. Let your imagination run wild as you paint your masterpiece alongside fellow students.

1500 Voters: Extra £50 Grant Funding for Societies –

Societies are the heartbeat of campus life, providing students with opportunities for personal growth, skill development, and community engagement. By reaching 1500 votes, up-to £50 as additional grant funding will be allocated to each and every active RSU societies. This boost in resources will empower societies to organise more events, workshops, and initiatives for the benefit of all members.

1750 Voters: Puppy Room for Exam Stressbusting – 

PROGRESSING

Exam season can be a stressful time for students, but it doesn't have to be overwhelming. At 1750 voters, we will organise a puppy room where you can take a break from your studies and enjoy some furry companionship. Interacting with therapy dogs has been proven to reduce stress and improve overall well-being, providing much-needed relief during challenging times. 

2000+ Voters: The Ultimate Surprise –

As the excitement builds and the votes continue to pour in, anticipation mounts for the ultimate surprise awaiting students at the 2000-voter milestone. What could it be? Only time will tell, but one thing is certain – it will be worth the wait.
